this is my favorite part of the site :)
basically it's just a collection of fun little notes about the games i have beaten, free games included
to be on here, a game must have a definitive ending
non-singleplayer games with singleplayer modes (e.g splatoon) WILL count, but will only be judged based on their singleplayer mode, not the multiplayer stuff
be aware that this part is also still a work in progress. i will finish all of these notes eventually, it just takes time yknow
not an offensively bad game, but i just don't care about fuckass extraterritorial rights. no case stands out as fantastic, and many of the original characters outside of miss Kay Faraday - the goat - and Lang are that compelling

really solid game following the first trilogy, that i feel gets some undeserved hate. sure, a couple of the cases have some pretty stupid segments, and there are problems with apollo's development as a lawyer, but the good far outweighs the bad. also trucy, apollo, klavier, and ema have such a great dynamic and i love them so much

its cute! love me some baba and keke, plus the puzzles are really, REALLY well made. i love the idea of messing with the rules being the entire game. it's a really well executed puzzler with a cute art style. what else can i ask for

i have some serious problems with how this game handles some serious topics. it just ends up feeling undeveloped and unfinished, because of how quickly the characters bounce back from crazy shit like sexual assault. child abuse is brought up in the worst way possible. it just doesn't understand that these topics are more than just plot hurdles to be jumped over, they're actions that seriously change the moral compass of these characters

a fun little bonus to the 3d world port. i think it's interesting to see how the 3d world engine handles "true 3d", and it's quite a good time. fun for its runtime, for sure

a rather... boring fps game. it's basically CoD without any of the bells & whistles that made later games unique, which means it's not particularly bad, just nothing too special

a cute, if incredibly easy, puzzler starring the wonderful captain toad. the charm here is through the roof, and the mechanics from 3d world work surprisingly well in a puzzle game. unfortunately there is no challenge here; it was fun, but became pretty boring near the end

a totally decent visual novel. i think the romance feels a little bit half-baked; each route is a little too short and samey to feel significant (outside of graves), though i do quite like the actual content that's there. outside of that, alongside some minor technical/consistency issues, it's pretty cute! if this type of game is your thing, it's a decent choice, but it's definitely not a standout by any means

kirby metroidvania. a kirbtroidvania, mayhaps. it's a surprisingly solid metroidvania with that classic kirby charm. i do wish the map system was slightly reworked, but it's a pretty small complaint. outside of that, it's a good time

great vibes, unfortunately followed by an aggressively standard platformer. when its just messing around, it's incredible. when it tries to be a puzzle platformer, it's just okay

it's a really solid sonic game! the stages are really fun, and switching between classic and boost formulas is a real blast. compared to something like sonic forces, the stage design is significantly better. the story, though, is pretty wack, even for sonic; very exposition-y. they could've made it super simple, just have it be an anniversary type-thing with sonic revisiting his old locations. no biggie though, it's still a blast

boring 2d platformer. it's just a total nothing game, with nothing all that interesting to do and uninspired level design. the art style is the most interesting thing here, but even then it's a major step down from its predecessor. it was actually grueling to finish

pure yuri fluff. just dumb, and silly, and cute, and dumb. its free and you can finish it in like 25 minutes with all endings. please play
